The Asian Paints TruCare Painting Tray 960 is a professional-grade painting tool engineered to make your DIY and commercial coating projects efficient, neat, and uniform. Molded from premium, impact-resistant rigid plastic, this tray is designed to handle all types of water-based emulsions, solvent-based primers, and glossy oil enamel paints without warping or leaking.
The inner base features a deeply recessed reservoir zone on one side that holds a substantial amount of fluid, paired with a precision-molded textured grid ramp on the other. Rolling your paint roller across this diamond-patterned grid removes excessive pooled liquid, forcing paint evenly into the fabric cover to prevent dripping and messy surface splatters. Sturdy integrated support legs provide a flat, wobble-free foundation on ladders, scaffolding platforms, or floor surfaces to ensure stable operation during high-pace workflows.
Product Highlights
- Premium Durable Build: Manufactured from high-density, solvent-resistant polymers that cleanly withstand continuous chemical washing for long-term reuse
- Precision Textured Grid Ramp: The embossed ribbed diamond surface strips excess liquid cleanly off your roller, ensuring an even finish and significantly reducing paint wastage
- Deep Capacity Reservoir: Built with a sloped deep pocket cavity that retains maximum fluid volume, cutting down your physical reloading trips
- Anti-Wobble Foundation Stability: Molded with structural reinforcement pillars and flat-bottom legs to keep the tray firmly balanced during aggressive rolling

1) What size paint rollers can fit inside the reservoir of this tray?
The tray features an inner horizontal workspace clearance layout designed to cleanly accommodate standard 4-inch, 7-inch, and full-size 9-inch (225 mm) paint rollers alongside standard hand brushes.
2) Can I reuse this tray for multiple projects, or is it a single-use disposable item?
It is a highly durable, multi-use tool. For water-based paints, simply wash it with clean water immediately after use. For oil-based enamel paints, clean the tray using small amounts of Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO) solvent before the paint dries.
3) Does the tray come with a disposable plastic liner?
No, this tray is a standalone rigid plastic unit meant to be washed and reused directly. If you prefer a liner for extra-quick cleanup, standard disposable roller tray liners sized for 9-inch trays will fit inside this unit.
4) Is this tray stable enough to use on a ladder or scaffolding platform?
Yes. The tray is molded with structural reinforcement pillars and flat-bottom support legs specifically designed to keep it steady and wobble-free during use on ladders, scaffolding, or uneven floor surfaces.
5) What types of paint can I safely use in this tray?
The tray is built to handle water-based emulsions, solvent-based primers, and glossy oil enamel paints without warping, leaking, or degrading, making it suitable for most household and commercial painting jobs.
