1) What is Flexiply used for?
Flexiply is bendable plywood for curved surfaces. It is fixed over a curved frame to create round columns, curved counters, rounded furniture ends and arches.
2) Can I use Flexiply for shelves or cabinet boxes?
No. Flexiply has no load-bearing strength and should never be used on its own as a shelf, carcass panel or partition. Use regular BWP plywood for those, and Flexiply only to clad the curved parts.
3) How tight a curve can it bend to?
It depends on thickness. 6 mm sheets can bend to about 10 – 15 cm radius, suitable for column wraps. 12 mm sheets need wider curves of around 25 cm or more.
4) Can I use it in kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes. As BWP marine-grade plywood it handles moisture and steam well, so curved vanity fronts and rounded kitchen ends are fine. Seal all edges and finish the surface.
